Capable of using a pre-cut paperboard blank, the blister pocket can be formed to hold the product in a fashion similar to a classic film blister package, and 100% paperboard materials can be used with product viewing windows on either side of the package. Plastic blister materials can be run on the same machine when equipped with a forming module for higher strength, tamper-evident requirements. Classic materials such as PVC or PET can be used as well as more environmentally friendly options like recycled PET or biodegradable PLA films. Equipment solutions are available for low to moderate volumes as well as production scale systems.
